Summer has officially arrived at Fratello’s with the launch of a brand new seasonal menu
North East foodies can now experience the taste of Summer at Fratello’s Jesmond, as the authentic Italian restaurant launches a brand new menu, inspired by the country’s culinary hotspots.
Diners can indulge on the finest of Italian cuisine, expertly crafted by head chef, Darren Tait, for guests to enjoy in Jesmond’s contemporary surroundings this summer.
Start off with fresh basil and pesto flavours of the Boccherini Caprese Salad, a perfect light bite that promises to get your senses stirring before you move on to one of our exciting new main course additions.
For the main event, our brand new Capesante E Vangole is perfect for seafood lovers, combining sautéed queen scallops with locally sourced clams, peas and broad beans in a tangy mint butter and lemon finish.
Or, why not try the traditional Italian Saltimbocca Di Maiale? A delicious pork escalope wrapped in Parma Ham, stuffed with mozzarella and sage, served alongside wild mushrooms and marsala cream.
To finish with something sweet, choose the light and luxurious Summer Pudding, with mouth-watering vanilla pod mascarpone and honey, or round off your dining experience in true Sicilian fashion with a scoop of ice cold gelato, available in a number of rich flavours.
Alongside our new seasonal additions, diners can also indulge on Fratello’s range of classic mains from hand-stretched pizzas, to pasta favourites and creamy risotto dishes.
